Vodafone UK Selected as a Supplier of ICT Services to the UK Public Sector

Vodafone UK announced that it has been selected as a supplier of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services to the UK public sector under the Government's Public Services Network (PSN) Services Framework contract.
Vodafone has passed the rigorous supplier screening process and is now well placed to help the Public Sector find new and better ways of working to support the efficient delivery of public services.
The company said that having worked with Public Sector customers since 1985, it has a proven track record of delivering a range of robust, reliable and secure ICT services using its advanced technology and industry expertise.
Vodafone was successfully selected in all six chosen categories:
- Lot 1: Communications Services
- Lot 3: Video Conferencing
- Lot 5: Call and Contact Center
- Lot 6: Mobile Voice and Data
- Lot 7: Paging
- Lot 10: Unified Services
Established by The Cabinet Office, PSN is a framework designed to significantly reduce the cost and simplify the process of procuring communications services across UK Government, so Public Sector employees can devote more time to their core functions, which will ultimately benefit the British public.

Vodafone said it is leading the way in terms of providing innovative solutions to a large number of government bodies, including Local and Central Government, Public Authorities, NHS, Public Health Trusts (PCTs) and emergency services.
Under the new PSN framework, Vodafone will help the Public Sector become more agile and responsive by enabling remote collaboration and flexible working so employees can provide critical, frontline services from wherever they need to be. And, having been selected in so many PSN lots, Vodafone has become a one stop shop for a range of PSN ICT services.
