Confirms India a key location for R&D and future business development

February 4, 2011 /India PRwire/ -- UK based Imagination Technologies Ltd., a world leader in multimedia and communications technologies, today confirmed the completion of the acquisition of HelloSoft into the Imagination Technologies Group. This is part of a wider strategy to develop Imagination's Indian R&D operations, tapping into the important Indian engineering talent pool. Imagination now has two R&D centers in India located at Hyderabad and Pune with a combined workforce of over 150 employees.

HelloSoft's acquisition by Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE:IMG) will strengthen Imagination's R&D position in the Indian market and enhance its product portfolio to include VoIP and Video over IP products, as well as strengthen its wireless connectivity capabilities.
