Just as CNET/Download.com is Accused by RIAA Chief of
   Vicarious Liability, Billionaire Alki David Turns Up the Heat

(Recording Industry Association of America) accusing CBS owned
CNET/Download.com of vicarious liability for distributing known piracy
tools, FilmOn.TV founder and CEO Alki David is finally being
vindicated.

In 2011 Billionaire Media Mogul Alki David, founder of FilmOn.TV, the
live streaming Platform, reigned in his controversial lawsuit against
CBS Interactive, then re-filed again in May of 2011 with a coalition of
over one hundred Artists and Copyright holders (Including Doug E.
Fresh, Slick Rick, Pretty Ricky, Sugar Hill Music Group and many more);
turning a contentious issue into a formidable movement.

The lawsuit claims damages from over one thousand copyrighted works
pirated by millions of online users who over many years were induced
and indoctrinated by CNET/Download.com staff in a culture that fostered
online piracy.

Jamie Marquart, of the law firm Baker Marquart, representing Alki David
and The Artists For Justice Coalition, stated that "the recent quotes
from the RIAA and recent legal precedent are finally catching up. Those
that promote and disseminate the tools of infringement are the
guiltiest of all."

Alki David added "our arguments show that time after time CNET
reporters and commentators promoted and endorsed the use of known
pirating tools such as Limewire, Frostwire, Bittorrent and many others.
Furthermore we will show how CNET actually hosted embedded links
directly from their web pages offering millions of young people the
ability to download thousands of songs from artists such as Snoop Dogg,
Brittney Spears and many more."

On Monday, July 2, 2012, there will be a Federal Court hearing in Los
Angeles, requested by CBS lawyers to have the case of Alki David et al
vs. CBS Interactive/CNET dismissed. However Mr. David is very confident
in the case and that it cannot be ignored, stating that "we have heaps
of video and recorded evidence showing that CNET reporters and editors
induced millions upon millions of online users to pirate known
copyrighted works repeatedly over many years."

Other known facts:

From the many billions of known pirating tools downloaded at
CNET/Download.com, including Frostwire, Mp3Rockets, Bittorrent and
others, Federal Judge Kimba Wood (who in 2010 shuttered limewire.com)
was shown evidence in the RIAA Vs Lime Wire trial that
CNET/Download.com was the exclusive distributor of Lime Wire from which
users who were directed to download over one billion copies of Lime
Wire.

During that same trial, CNET co-founder and then CEO, Shelby Bonnie,
was a sitting board member on Warner Music Group whilst Warner Music
was suing Lime Wire.

Alki David has been harshly criticized by CNET-friendly media outlets
of double standards, due to the fact that he is still embroiled in a
lawsuit with all four major networks since 2010, in the case CBS vs.
FilmOn. CBS is suing FilmOn.com, Inc. for copyright infringement, when
in 2010 FilmOn was the first live streaming site in the USA to
demonstrate its ability to re-transmit HD quality video streams to
mobile devices like iPhone, iPad and Android.
