Google is sharing knowledge about online opportunities in India by bringing its g|day events to the country. The g|day events are a global initiative from Google and will be hosted in India for the first time this year.

Events will be held across the 5 major cities in India, starting with Chennai on July 19th and 20th, 2012 followed by Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai. Detailed schedule is available on the India gday Web site.

Sunil Rao, Country Head - Outreach Programs India, Google, said, "g|day events are a great opportunity for business leaders, developers, IT professionals and entrepreneurs to learn about Google technologies that can help them to harness the power of the Internet."

Each g|day event will have a 2 day schedule that will cater to different audiences. Day 1 will focus on businesses, marketers, publishers and content owners who want to learn more about Google products such as AdWords, AdSense, YouTube, Google+, and Google Apps to help them to improve and take advantage of their online presence.

Day 2 will be dedicated to webmasters and App developers, who want to learn more about our most popular developer products and tools - Android, Chrome, App Engine, Maps and Webmaster Tools. Google engineers will host sessions including code labs dedicated to cutting-edge Web and mobile technologies.
